Champions League 2010 Schedule has been Announced – Click Here to get it
The Champions League Twenty20 Governing Council (CLT20) will announce the Schedule of CLT20 once name of all teams participating in the League becomes clear. As of now, CLT20 Council is waiting for Caribbean Twenty20 final whose winner would be tenth team of the Champions League T20. The venues of Champions League T20 were announced on June 17, 2010. This time CLT20 would be played in the South Africa with venues as Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, Kingsmead Stadium in Durban, Centurion Park in Centurion and Georges Park in Port Elizabeth.
All the matches would be played at the above selected venues only. The schedule of Champions League would be 16 days long starting September 10 and Ending on September 26, 2010. The same was announced earlier by the former IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi at his twitter account.

It is expected to have international stars including Sachin Tendulkar, Dhoni, Mahela Jayawardene, Steyn, Rahul Dravid, Shaun Tait, Duminy, Ajanta Mendis, Anil Kumble, Mathew Hayden, Taylor, Muthia Muralidaran, Pollard, Harbhajan Singh, Jacob Oram, Lasith Malinga, Bollinger, Bravo, Shahid Afridi, Hussey, Sanath Jayasuriya, Bollinger.
While announcing Venues of Champions League T20, Shashank Manohar, Chairman of CLT20 said, “South Africa is one of the best countries who have successfully hosted major events including the FIFA World Cup and we are happy to bring the same event to South Africa once again.”
CSA CEO, Gerald Majola expressed happiness over the decision and said “We are confident of hosting the CLT20 Tournament here and our fans would like to watch domestic team warriors and Lions which has qualified for CLT20.
Recently many events of Cricket have been played in South Africa including T20 World Cup 2007, Champions Trophy, IPL 2009 and now CLT20.
The event would allow 10 teams to participate. Three from India, two each from South Africa and Australia, & one each from New Zealand, Sri Lanka and West Indies.

The Schedule of Airtel Champions League T20 2010 is likely to be announced in the meeting of CLT20 Governing Council at Singapore. Although, name of tenth team would not be available till June 30th, 2010. The tournament, which will be held from 10 to 26 September 2010 in South Africa, will feature 10 domestic Twenty20 sides from India, Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, West Indies and South Africa.
This year England would not be able to send his team because of clashed with the domestic dates. India, Australia, England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and West Indies all came together to become part of Champions League Twenty20 Tournament.
